BROADWAY BOOTCAMP

2018

What's Happening?

MTW is delighted to be teaming up with 3 of Broadway's top lecturers in Musical Theatre who will join us directly from NEW YORK CITY to present a 'BROADWAY BOOTCAMP' in the January holidays in both Cape Town and Johannesburg. This is a unique opportunity to work with three BROADWAY professionals who have a host of credits to their names.

To celebrate MTW's 8th birthday we will be offering a full-scale Musical Theatre Bootcamp. 1 VENUE, 3 SPACES, 3 AGE GROUPS, all running simultaneously. Participants across the three age groups will be busy honing their triple threat skills for 6 hours everyday for 6 continuous days - eating, sleeping and breathing Musical Theatre.

This is an incredible opportunity to be coached for 34 HOURS by three BROADWAY PROFESSIONALS at the top of their game and who have their fingers on the pulse of what is required from young performers currently working on musicals on the Broadway stages.

Anybody who has a love for musicals and a desire to learn more about being a TRIPLE-THREAT performer can take part, regardless of whether you approach the workshops from a dance background, an acting background or a singing background. All that is required is a PASSION to learn and to soak up as much information as possible. As long as you are prepared to apply yourself, push your personal boundaries and have TONS OF FUN along the way!
